I just saw an ad that Investor’s Business Daily is having a “free pass” for the next week (Feb 26 to? March 4) on their online subscriber services.? I haven’t been dying to read IBD, but if it’s free I might look around a bit…
I know John has subscribed to IBD in the past…? what’s your take, what’s worth using, and does anything justify the subscription price when it stops being free?

IBD does have some enjoyable articles and apparently easy to use tools, but finding consistent success using them would take effort and I’m not sure that they give you any shortcuts to success. I really enjoyed IBD when I had it, and given more money and time I believe that I would have profited from their advice, but I cannot confirm this. It’s been over 6 years since I subscribed…
If I went part-time or took time off work, I’d consider getting IBD and other investment publications. If for no other reason, it gives you more material to sift through. Note that much of the investors.com site is free.

Although I had intentions of checking out IBD during the “free pass”, I don’t think I used it more than once… Such a shame.
